JAKE CHAPPELOW

CEO / FOUNDER

Jake envisioned the development of a local restaurant group founded upon key principles of integrity and innovation with a passionate desire to put the customer experience first. With an extensive background in the industry, Jake’s unwavering determination and no-nonsense approach helped to pave the way for the Burg & Barrel. Burg & Barrel now encompasses three restaurants which include Burg & Barrel locations in Overland Park, Leawood, Lenexa, a private event space named the Rickhouse, along with the Burg & Barrel Food Truck. Jake resides locally with his wife, Mandy, and three children.

MANDY CHAPPELOW

CFO / FOUNDER

Mandy initially made her mark in the service industry at Jerry's Bait Shop in Lenexa. She swiftly progressed from a server to a bartender and to a manager in a remarkably brief period. Following her relocation to Lee's Summit to oversee a new establishment, she felt poised for the next phase in her professional journey. This led her to establish her own bar in the Crossroads District of downtown Kansas City. She joined forces with Jake, culminating in the inception of the Burg & Barrel. Mandy's original vision seamlessly translated into each establishment, characterized by exceptional customer service, dynamic menus, and distinctive craft beverages.

ULISES MUNOZ

EXECUTIVE CHEF / FOOD TRUCK PARTNER

Ulises has always been involved in the restaurant industry and has worked in various restaurant kitchens in both Kansas and Missouri. As the Executive Chef for Burg & Barrel, he oversees kitchen operations for all locations.  Ulises’ passionate commitment to excellence carries through in his fine eye for detail and commitment to quality. His rapid ability to organize and mobilize kitchen staff makes him a valued and respected leader in the industry. A true visionary, he is thorough in his assessment of quality and proficiency.

BRIAN FAUERBACH

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Brian's journey in the hospitality industry began over two decades ago when he started his career at Fox & Hound. Driven by a passion for creating memorable dining experiences, he quickly climbed the ranks, holding various roles in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This comprehensive experience allowed him to develop a profound understanding of the intricate workings of the restaurant industry. Throughout his career, Brian has demonstrated a unique ability to analyze and optimize operational processes, making him an indispensable asset at every stage of his journey.
